Big Screen Sign
Turn any message into big text on a fullscreen display — with a live countdown or QR code if you need one. Great for projections, TVs, live streams, meetings, and events. Pick an aspect ratio, colors, font weight, and an animation. Everything lives in the URL — no account, no upload, share by copying the link.
Double-click the display to enter or exit fullscreen
Sign settings
Use simple markdown-like syntax in any slide:
| Type | Result |
|---|---|
| **bold** or __bold__ | Bold |
| *italic* or _italic_ | Italic |
| ~~struck~~ | Strikethrough |
| `code` | Code, shown exactly as typed |
| # Title | Heading, 2× size (line start) |
| ## Subtitle | Heading, 1.5× size (line start) |
| Enter | New line |
| {countdown} | Live countdown (set a target below) |
| \* \_ \~ \` \# \|\| \{ \ | Backslash shows the next character literally |
The dashed outline in the preview marks the visible area for this ratio; fill mode has no outline.
Type the text the QR encodes — a URL, WiFi credentials, plain text. Leave empty to point at this page so phones can scan and open the same sign.
Private by design: your message lives in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to the server.
Quick start
Get your text on the big screen in 4 steps
No sign-up, no install — it works in your browser, entirely on your device.

01
Write your content
Just type and press Enter for new lines. Split slides with ||, and drop {countdown} anywhere to embed a live timer.

Use cases
Where it shines
Anywhere you need one screen, one big line of text, readable from across the room.
Events & venues
Project a welcome sign, agenda, or live countdown at weddings, conferences, and parties.
Live streams
Use it as an OBS "starting soon" scene with marquee announcements and a QR code overlay.
Meetings & lobbies
Show a "Meeting in progress" notice or a QR code visitors scan on arrival.
Classrooms & exams
Display a countdown to the bell, exam time remaining, or a "Quiet please" sign.
Examples
Start from a template
Every card is a working link. View opens it fullscreen in a new tab; Edit loads it into the editor so you can make it yours.
Features
Built for reading at a distance
Not a document, not a slide deck — a single fullscreen view made of big text.
Big text auto-fit
Font size scales with the content: a single word becomes giant big text, a long sentence shrinks to fit — never overflows, never wraps.
Live countdown placeholder
Insert {countdown} anywhere in the text with a chosen timezone; it ticks down to the target, then counts up as overtime — identical for everyone.
Multi-slide rotation
Split content with || and one sign rotates through multiple slides — great for multi-part announcements or alternating timer and message.
9 display animations
Pulse, flash, shake, bounce, marquee scroll, vertical crawl, typewriter, fade in, and rainbow — plus bold/italic inline formatting.
Link is the config + QR
Every setting lives after the # in the URL — nothing is uploaded or stored. Show a QR on the sign so phones open the same display.
Fits any screen
Fill mode or 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16, 21:9 presets; web and true screen fullscreen. Works on monitors, TVs, projectors, and in OBS.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
No. Everything you type — text, colors, countdown target — is encoded in the URL fragment (after the #), which browsers never send to the server. All rendering happens on your device; once the page is loaded it keeps working even offline. The server never sees your content.
Because it technically cannot collect your content. By web standard, everything after the # in a URL (the fragment) is never included in HTTP requests — your entire configuration lives in the link itself and travels only between your own devices. There is no account system, no database, and no server-side storage here; the link is the data. You can verify this anytime: open the Network tab in your browser's developer tools and edit the content — no request carrying your content is ever sent; load the page once, go offline, and the sign keeps working fully.
Yes — and it opens in fullscreen for them. Click "Copy share link"; the link carries every setting (text, colors, ratio, animation, countdown target). Recipients land directly on the fullscreen sign with no editor visible and no way to alter your configuration.
Yes — that is the core use. Type a word or phrase and auto-fit scales it into giant big text filling the whole screen: a single big word, a "Welcome" sign, or a full-screen announcement. No design tools needed; it runs on any monitor, TV, or projector.
In Auto fit mode the sign finds the largest font size that keeps the text inside the display area without wrapping or scrolling. Short words grow huge, long sentences shrink — no tweaking needed. You can also lock a fixed pixel size. Tip: very long sentences get small text, so split them into multiple slides with || when you want bigger type.
Yes. Text is rendered with the device system fonts, so Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and other scripts all scale up correctly, and emoji appear in the system colorful glyphs. Auto-fit measures actual rendered width, so text in any language is scaled to fill the space without overflowing. It is worth checking the final result on the device you will present on, since font styles differ between systems.
Typing {countdown} anywhere inserts a live ticking countdown to the target time you set. The target is interpreted in the timezone you choose, so the same link shows the same remaining time for everyone, regardless of their own timezone. After the target it keeps counting forward as an overtime indicator.
Yes. Separate text segments with || and the sign rotates through them automatically with a sliding transition, each visible for a few seconds. Useful for multi-part announcements or alternating a countdown with a message.
Yes, on anything with a browser: connect a laptop to a projector or TV over HDMI and click Screen Fullscreen; open the share link in a smart TV's built-in browser; or add a Browser source in OBS and paste the link for an always-on stream scene. The 16:9, 9:16 and other ratio presets keep the picture undistorted on any size.
With the QR toggle on, a QR appears on the sign encoding the share link by default — anyone scanning it with a phone opens the same sign on their own device. You can also put a URL, WiFi credentials, or plain text in the "QR content" field to point the QR anywhere you like.
Completely free: no account, no watermark, no usage limits, and nothing you type is ever collected.
Yes. "Web Fullscreen" fills the browser window; "Screen Fullscreen" fills the entire monitor with no browser chrome — best for projectors and venue displays. Double-click the display or press Esc to toggle quickly. The dashed frame in the preview marks the visible region for your chosen ratio, so you can confirm the result before going fullscreen.
